make something better

I'd bet a lot of this blog's readers fit the brooding, moping, creative demographic.

You're the ones with the most to say about a movie, or an album, or a painting someone else has made. You'd probably have made comments like, "that was five minutes of my life I'll never get back," or "I've seen better colours in a can of tuna,", etc

You might even have some idea of entertainment as being something not only artistic and pleasurable, but also lifting.

You're also likely disappointed with the popular culture of today.

So why not add something to it?

Why not write, or draw, or play something that is better than what you're unhappy with?

You're not doing it for the money (like anyone'll pay you) so why not make something that people can watch and enjoy, and is better than what's out there.

Something you can do, maybe its simple, maybe its big and complex, as long as its something to show.

Something that slaps them awake, or makes them angry, or makes them feel guilty, or arouses their spirits, or inspires them.

It's not easy, yes, so you have to start now.
