One by one, the contents
of the top shelf were placed into the container. An dusty picture frame, a plastic comb, there wasn't much to clear from the cupboard.

The tenant wasn't a hoarder, unlike his neighbours. He didn't try to fit all his years of life into this small space, which made cleaning after him a quick and painless process.

There were no novelty plates or 60s memorabilia for the cleaners to gawk at, no old technology to marvel over.

They managed to clear the unit in less than an hour after the tenant's passing. Just in time for the new tenant's arrival.
