took two years to die

my phone’s battery seem to dying sooner and sooner these days. Make a few calls, it’s dead. Take a few pictures, it’s dead. Any period of activity on it, and it’s dead.

I think it’s because the phone’s more than two years old now. For some reason, my electronics never fail to give me problems once they get to that age.

My 2 year old laptop melted its graphics chip.

My previous phone fell apart after two years.

My iPod took the same time to lose function of its physical buttons.

2 years; it’s that how long electronics last these days?
